A digital radio station in Fairfield, California, playing the greatest hits of the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s — with a local Northern California feel.
We launched Power88.FM in Fairfield in 2023 with one goal: to prove that “digital” doesn’t have to mean “distant”. The signal travels through the app and platforms like Live365, but the station itself is right here in Solano County — and so are the people on it.
Anyone can make a playlist. Only a neighbour can tell you why the traffic is backed up on the I-80. That’s the difference we work at: the greatest hits of the decades that built this audience, played by hosts who live in the market they broadcast to.
Where we reach
Power88.FM serves Fairfield, Vacaville, Suisun City, Vallejo, Napa, Concord — Solano County and the wider Sacramento–San Francisco corridor. Because the station is streaming-only, there are no dead zones and no static: the signal is as clean at the back of the fairgrounds as it is in your kitchen.
The Beat Machine
Being digital doesn’t mean staying indoors. The Beat Machine is the station’s mobile unit — a full sound system built into the van — and it rolls out to live remotes, county fairs, car shows and street festivals all year. Longtime listeners knew it as the Power Prize Patrol; same crew, same prizes, considerably bigger rig.
